(Thanx Axle)

It has been proposed by the No votes in the previous poll to adopt the coordinate system above.

This is a common system known as the World Coordinate System (WCS)in AutoCad and other CAD systems. If Adopted it would apply to both the rotor and the stators.

In this system rotor magnet #1 is considered to be at 0 when its equator passes the X+ line.

I really don't care as long as I can get some reasonably accurate measurements with in such constraints of such as HSF videos etc.

Since folks are using software, I would advise going with the general system of that.

I vote 'Yes, 0 is at X+ incremented CCW'

It makes good sence for a good number of reasons. For one, if you are 'right handed' (as Al appears to be) and I am, it is just a 'natural/easy thing' to first spin the rotor CW, and then the AGW stator with your right hand.

I defer to OC and Al for 'final approval'. Just because I posted the 'XYZ image' does not mean things need to be that way. But, I don't see any good reason to
change it.

Thanks Harvey!
